Wow.
This is SO OLD and I mostly forget about this picture's existence because I could only see it for a few hours xD This was done as a gift when visiting ~Tiara-C some years ago, the first visit to her new flat actually. She had to work in the mornings so I stayed at her house and drew a (birthday...?) gift for her. Despite how old this picture is and knowing it's neither perfect nor very good, unique or even clean - I still like it a lot. Must be the colors. Or something. Also the fact that I didn't draw him with his face to the viewer. I like back-views, I'm just not that good at it. Screw it. Now I want to draw a similar pic with Aurelio. That would look pretty cheap, wouldn't it...? I don't know. Also, it's full of symbolism, the pearls, the butterfly, the thorns, the fullmoon, all of them have a meaning related to the character. Dated /// 2005 I think? Character /// Kesai~Saraah © ~Tiara-C Media /// Watercolor, Copic Markers (?) Silk Paint, Ink Liners, Ink Brush Pens, White Ink |

Kesai seems to be glowing? Is he one of those moth people like your... erm *forgot cahara's name
Go ahead with the Aurelio pic! You could change the symbolism a bit XD maybe?

Is there a madman with a brain to turn the stuff of nightmare sane
Kesai isn't actually glowing but it could very well seem like it as he's so very pale.
Your guess isn't that far off, still Kesai doesn't have anything to do with Priyati.
Kesai is a Papillhomme (a race of people with butterfly wings existent in our MII RPG, where Akhila and Nyarai are also from), whereas Priyati is a much weirder character belonging into our MTS world (ghosts, the afterlife etc.).
He's more human/elf like with only his wings and pointy ears; Priyati is more moth-like and actually something like a ghost.
of course, the symbolism would be very different if I were to do the same with Aurelio! XD
You have no clue how awesome this comment makes me feel!
I have no clue how a man can "emotionally" look like one so I don't really get it. What I DO get though is that he despite clothes, colors, etc. does not look like a girl. Although his design appears pretty feminine/androgynous/soft to me. I always want to keep as close to the original design as possible when drawing someone else's character. If that character happens to be a not very masculine male though, it gets somewhat difficult.
I want to stay close to the original design, but still want to show that the character is male. In the end I always hope the character is recognizable and doesn't simply look like a girl lacking boobage.

il mare i giochi e le fate
e la paura e la voglia
di essere nudi
un bacio a labbra salate
il fuoco quattro risate
e far l' amore giù al faro...
ti amo davvero ti amo lo giuro...ti amo ti amo
davvero!
Keep it up!
